Today was a good day, I was none stop running around this afternoon. I clean the place up, hang up some of my pictures/posters.....cleaned more. Felt mature for once in my life..... Sunny day...some cloudy periods.

So she won't complain anymore.....I went to go see Emily Rose the other day with Paintedbat. It was good, I think it should have been the trial of Father so and so cause you don't see much of Emily. Besides that, good.

I thought about tattooing as a profession for probably three years before I actually went around looking for an apprenticeship. I had a large portfolio of work with me and that helped me land one within two weeks of shopping around to see what was available in my area - I actually had a choice of shops, so that was very cool. It's expensive, so I went with the smaller shop that was willing to let me pay as I went rather than the cost up front. I was there three nights and one day a week for a few months before I was able to use a machine, and I actually went very fast. I learned on my boss, which showed a huge amount of faith in me on his part, and after three months of practicing on friends of the shop I was able to start working on others on a limited basis. A few months later and I was in full swing, but assisting that was the fact that I quit my day job one month into the practice phase to start tattooing full-time. It's the hours that you are there working that really accellerate the learning curve.
