I read the first book that Christopher Rice published... it was definitely weird, but it was a good read. It seemed like he was trying a little too hard to outdo Mom though, in terms of strangeness within the plot line. I haven't read anything since that one, although I'd like to, to see how his writing style is developing. Thanks for reminding me, actually!
