So evidently complaining about not being able to find a 50s dinette set on a public journal was just the sprinkling of fairy dust I needed. right after I last wrote I went out on a random junk store hunt and pow! Cool chrome trimmed table, 4 matching red vinyl chairs, $125. Boo-yah! It's a bit beat up but after I hit it with WD40 and steel wool a lot of rust came off and it looks fab. Totally in love! Go look at the pics. NOW!!!
A sign I'm getting old: first microdermabrasion appointment tomorrow to be followed by a chemical peel in a couple weeks. I can't believe how my sun damage got so bad over the past year.
I hate it when the cat has kitty litter caught in his butt fur.
