Oh yeah, I know, if one suspects an expiration date is looming on one's relationship, it is best if one just sucks it up and moves on. I don't know what my problem is. OK, I do. It's really, really good chemistry and that he is ridiculously easy to be with (no jealousy, no calling three times a day, etc.). I guess there's no happy medium. 
On the upside, had a really cool day at the clinic. Did a lot of biopsies. Actually sutured. And the patients are all cool. I guess that's the VA for you. I just adore most of the vets. If I ever were to practice clinical medicine it would be a tempting place to work, despite the fact that it's government and the pay is crappy.
And one of the interns at the clinic is kind of sexy, in a Tom Hanks sort of way. We had a brief, mild hookup last week and I was just overwhelmed with boyfriend guilt, for the jackass who never calls me back when he says he will. Plus, said intern has a girlfriend back in Florida. Oh, the messes we make!

And yes.... us birds are suckers for abuse. It's pathetic. And I am not feeling TOO much guilt! Besides, Cute Intern Guy is off to Florida to see his girlfriend this weekend. Doesn't keep him from sending me all these text messages! How cute.
