I give up on the pictures, even though they are highly entertaining.

I've been on surgicals this month, which means I've gotten a lovely array of specimens so far. Lots of stabbings and shootings lead to oodles of lacerated spleens and bowels and livers, all of which end up to be mine. I've had couple products of conception, which can be as boring as a bunch of blood clots, but two of them were perfect -- the little sac was pretty much intact, and when you open it, there is a wee little fetus. I think they're cute and fascinating, to think we all started that way. Little tadpoles.

The MBA is coming along. Almost done with the first class.

PorkChop and I are going to LA the first week in November to see Johnny Marr play with Modest Mouse. PC is practically crapping himself with anticipation. Marr is one of the last few people he really wants to meet. I'm just excited for the rows and rows of vintage shops and sneaker stores on Melrose and the head shops in Venice and the overall feeling of LA. I know it's a place that people love to hate, but it is sort of magical.

Off to an Oktoberfest tonight. I made Jello shots in the colors of the German flag.
