spring music fest ... ... ...
well sorry it took so long to update about it but I can't really explain it properly for it was a bust and a good time at the same time.
I'll just list the details
-we were supposed to arrive 4 hours early
-there was a show completley seperate of ours being played at the same time as ours in the same building on the floor above us so a lot of people went there instead of to ours. As well the spring music fest has 3 shows in three buildings going on in the same day so most of the crowd going to the spring music fest was there to see andy stochansky and signed artists instead of 4 relatively unknown bands
-We had a good reaction from the people who were there though and we sold some cds
-our sound guy was garbage we couldn't really hear ourselves since the levels were all off. He also put on echo on my mic when mike asked him to put one on the drum mics which didn't get an echo.
-Mike brought a really cool cute as all hell girl who seemed to really like our band and was watching me on stage most of the time. That was hot. and of course after I had left I had thought of a bunch of different things I could have done and opportunities to get to know her better!!! damit why am I only charming after the fact.
-Mikes sister got hella-drunk and provided a lot of entertainment however embarrasing for her the next day.
Thats about all I can say about the Spring Music Fest... boom or bust.. thats in the eye of the beholder I guess.
I really want to meet that girl again though... she said shed come back to our shows though. but who knows our bass player was standing behind me maybe she was looking at him instead... he is tall and goodlooking... dammit!! I can't defeat myself already can I? sigh

honey, if she doesn't see you, then she's not meant for you. you can't make it happen. it just does. besides, it's not always the greatest thing in the world you know. love sure hurts a lot.
