maybe a shorter update is due.. and maybe since Im bored it'll be longer who knows.
so the show on sunday went of well but not without its share of hitches.
first of all we were competing agains the Leaf game and where I a come from .. canada ... that is not kosher. Plus we were competing against the leaf game being watched by a bunch of leaf fans. eep. From the moment I walked in to the bar I got the impression we would not be liked.
but then we went on stage (and I'll try to keep this brief even though it was a long set) We absolutley TRAIN WRECKED our first song... Ouch, but we didn't stop and go ooops. When we brought it to an end I told the crowd how we tran wrecked it and those that have seen us before know it. So the crowd laughed. The rest of the songs went off well. I absolutley love the feeling when people clap for you after playing a song. I got some talking in this time ... last show there was no time .. but at first all I could get off was "go leafs go" and the introductions to the songs.
So we played about 4 of our own songs before it was cover time. For the birthday boy in question we covered some Brand New songs since they were probably his favorite band.. thats when the talking came into play. Had to make sure he knew this was for him. This was when the crowd got into us. Familiar material always helps. The leafs loosing helped a lot too.
After the show I got a buncha handshakes which I LOVE GETTING. The singer in the band after us said I did an amazing job and that my scream is the greatest hes ever heard. WOW everytime I hear that it just gets better. Mike tried to convince me that the uber-hot bartenders were into me but lead singer or no they were still way outa my league.
anways thats all the interesting news about that show. It was tonnes of fun and I can't wait to the 15th to do it again... different set though.
I hope that was short enough for all you complainers out there. You know who you are. lol.

mood: Im uber-bored and have to work early in the morning. Its like 8:30 and Im considering going to bed. Ouch Im lame.
