Okay its time to update.... that past journal seems so long ago,
and as I sit here my winamp is currently plaing Incubus' a crow left of the muder. (the title track not the whole CD)
speaking of CDs today I picked up the new 36 Crazyfists CD!!!! SCORE!!! yesterday I bought an old Rufio CD that was priced at like $26.67, marked down to 14.99 so naturally I had to pick it up since I'd been wanting it for a while.
I have been buying a lot lately. I just got Kill Bill vol. 1. and the first season of In Living Color on DVD. Both very good scores .... if I do say so myself.
I bought some nice clothes for job interviews... hell I could be a metrosexual now if I wore those casually. har har. but they look really nice and if I loose a couple pounds they'll look really nice on me. ( I swear Im not gay)
The band is going amazing right now. We are playing a 45 minute set on Sunday at the McMaster Uni. bar, its gonna be fun. Events to beheld at that show. 1. We are covering Soco Ameretto Lime & The Queit things that no one ever knows by Brand New, we added and adjusted a few things to adapt better to our style. For Soco it'll just be me and Jamie and we'll both be singing he'll be singing more. Our voices on melodies works pretty well acctually. 2. The first and last time we will be playing a song called Midnight. Midnight was designed to be a slow melodic hold on to the one you love and make out with her kinda song until the end where it gets heavy... and thats how we are going to play it on Sunday.. but on the CD it'll be full of screaming and really short. Thats how we will be playing it from then on if we decide to play it ever.
We have a paying gig on May 15th @ the AFB @ 12 Ferguson St. @ Hamilton. Im uber-excited about that one. Its the spring music fest apparently so all-right!!! and I've already told a buncha people who are telling a buncha people who are telling a buncha people etc. etc. to show up.
The scanner is still up in the air. I have it but I don't have anything to instal it with. I've been drawing up ideas about pictures that describe songs and stuff like that. Being back into art is fun. Thank you Germany for inspiring me to get back into drawing and painting again. You rule!!
Going to see Thursday and Poison the Well on saturday!!! Color me excited (see that I used the American spelling of colour so that you guys wouldn't get confused)

Mood: I just sat through a 3 hour orientation for a temp agency. Im tired and have to unpack my stuff finally today. Im tired.
