What up Ya'll
so my plans for one rockin weekend friday to sunday turned into a rockin 24 hours of Saturday and chillz Friday and Sunday.
Plans for Friday went through so I died my hair purple and went to band practise. We jammed in a basement with rough equipment and made some shitty ass recordings on a little tape and tape recorder ... since I didn't have a mic and I was just singing over these amps it was kinda hard to hear me on the tape except when I screamed ... hah fuckin Rad.
Then saturday came ... oh my Saturday. Get up early and go off to Warped "f'n" Tour. Oh man, we ended up leaving later than projected because people had to go to the bank and take seperate trips.. and people wanted breakfast and then I had to take a leak sooo fucking bad on the middle of the highway so we had to stop for me .. .but I didn't feel so bad cuz a) I relieved the pain in my bladder ... it was another hour and half I soooo wouldn't have held it in dude.... and b) a tonne of other people took a leak too.. Then I started feeling a little sick 4 large coffee's and my buddies shotty driving can do that too ya.. but I didn't get sick I just laid down in a car. Some hot girl was shouting at me cuz of my purple hair .. I wish I had the energy to shout back and start talking with her in the middle of the road cuz she was hot... I was thinking she might even be a member here ... so to mystery girl if you are a member... sorry I was un-responsive I was about to hurl I think.
Then we get there and it starts raining and the purple hair dye starts to slowly come out of my hair and onto my face ... how embarrasing.. but other people with hair dye were in a lot worse shape than I was so it was all good.. Then we finally get into the park and FUCK FUCK FUCK we missed Story of the Year and The Ataris and The Used were just finishing up their set... but we got to see Bert jump off some really huge stage aparatus which was cool and they played 4 songs that I really like. Other amazing bands that we saw Coheed and Cambria rocked the Hizouse, Bert stage dived during their set which was cool but all my friends got to meet him and I didn't cuz I was drained and didn't feel like moshing that day. Glassjaw was absolutley flawless I couldn't believe how fucking great they are on stage Daryll Palumbo knows what the fuck he is doing. Poison the Well were amazing but the crowd didn't seem into I almost thought there was no mosh pit for them .. which was strange. Brand New or "Brand Nizzle" as we dubbed them based on a T-shirt was cool too. All in all a Rad fucking show dispite the rain.
Then warped ended and I was off to a party with some old high school friends... Fuckin "A" I got hella-high sooo fucking high I couldn't believe it. This girl I've had an on again off again crush on was there and was totally into hanging out with me for the whole night we are gonna go to a concert soon and maybe catch a movie .. but she has a boyfriend right now so its strictly friendship stuff... which is cool I guess. I crashed at this big hizouse that the party was at ... I was soo uncomfortable cuz that chick that called me "not good enough" was there and we were sleeping in the same room... so I tried not talking to her.. I hope she got the message that I didn't want to talk to her at all.
So Sunday my buddy Colin calls me up while Im sleeping and we go out CD shopping... so fuckin chillz is that guy and I haven't seen him in years cuz hes been in Ireland taking a music production course. He just started this grindcore-ish hardcore-ish band and he told me hes gonna set up a show with my band .. fuckin rad.. the touring is getting started in 2004 anyone in the area should come out and have a great time. CD shopping I got the old glassjaw, which I been meaning to get for a while, I got Hell is For Heroes and I got Poison the Well's brand new cd. Right fuckin on.
