Got a call from the TV repair shop, and after 37 days, I finally get my TV back. Just slippin' under the wire of having to give me a brand new one.

Here's how the whole shit-show went down:

Back in December, we came home after a day of mindlessly walking around 17th Ave., turned on our TV to *pfftz*... nothing... The power supply blew...

Nothin' much to say. It's "leg day". The most painful workout day of the week. I hate workin' my legs. Bad knees, ya know.

Anyway, uploaded a pic of ma house and of Amanda and me. That's all.

Well, that was the most pointless journal entry I've done thus far. Huzzah!
vim:
HAHA....leg day for me too.....fuckin' ouch....back day tomorrow?

vim:
thats actually a dope split....i should try it...right now i'm doin mon-chest, tues-arms, wed-legs, thurs-back, fri-boulders for shoulders....but it seems like my trieceps aren't 100% the day after doin chest, and my biceps are still wrecked on thurs when i do back...anyway, lookin ripped dude...keep it up yo!!

Gotta go back to work tomorrow after an extended moving vacation. Back to getting up at 6 am, getting home around 6 pm. Blech.

A couple months ago, they instituted this time sheet thang. We log our hours, and twiddle down at a presupposed number we have to work a year. It's roughly 2000 hours. Think about that for a minute. 2000 hours spent in...

Well, my old computer fried today. Completely, utterly, and without warning. Can't boot it up, not even from another disk. mad

So, biting the bullet I've been avoiding, I went out and blew a hole through my recently paid off Visa.

Such is life.
zerogirl:
aw, that sucks! nothing is worse than losing all the shit off your computer....and it always seems like once you finally get out of debt, something comes up and smacks you in the ass....

We live pretty close to this man-made pond thing (more on that later), so the humidity is on the high end. Well, high end for Calgary, so that's not saying too much, but bear with me.

The ice fog last night left a nice sheen to everything in the neighbourhood this morning. The streets, the light posts, the houses, it was kind nifty in the...

K, moved into the house on Thursday. Blew $500 on movers, bought another $500 worth of stuff for the house, did about a bagillion loads of laundry in our new washer/dryer, and watched copious amounts of TV on the digital channels that we get free for a month with our new "smart home" thingy.

A wired house kicks ass. The house kicks ass. I'm so...

Today was the last day I'm walking to work. It was a green mile-esque walk, taking me he better part of half an hour, and feeling like it took a day. As of tomorrow, a walk in would take approximately five hours. Good thing I got us a parking spot downtown.

Anyway, I've been a snarky bastard for the pasted two days. I'm snapping at...

Sixth murder in the city occurred last night. Six murders in less than two weeks. In all of last year there were 10 in total. I heard it on the news this morning over my morning buzz -- that's two shots of espresso in a cup of coffee. I'll be damned if I can find word one about it on any of the "news" websites....

I always figured I was a cuddler, but apparently I showed I'm more of a submission wrestler. A lot of nights me and Amanda sleep front-to-back with my arm over her. Sometimes, I'm told as I have no memory of this, I hold her a little tight. Last night she woke up and need to go to the bathroom. Her account states that I had...

I have a growing addiction the limited run "artist" t-shirts. I browse through Crownfarmer, OhioGirl, QuietLife, Commonwealth Stacks, and Beams Ts with alarming regularity. There's no good reason for it. I have a glut of T-shirts, but I'm inexplicable drawn to these ones.

I'd like to wave the anti-corporate flag and say the appeal is about being a walking billboard for...
