Have you guys have even heard of Howard Stern over there?

And I think that his show does indeed violate the FCC several times a day here as well. But he ends up paying loads of fines I guess. But he can afford it. He is wildly successful here on the radio and on TV. He may even be expensive to buy. Not sure about that.

P.S. I wouldn't want you to miss your workouts either.tongue

Oh you are like a Canadian version of Bam Margera. LOL. That's way cool. If you ever have something like that set up would you share that with us via some kind of picture...or something?

Morning! I will check out that site later on today when I have the time. And a mental image created by words is far more powerful than an actual picture.

Wow the financial aspect is totally what does not scare me at all. I'm quite comfortable in terms of my finacial responsibility and what not. It's really the classic fear of being stuck with one person for the rest of my life. But I do admit to feeling cynical right now becausenmy current relationship is not going so well. Perhaps if I was with someone else (the right person perhaps) I wouldn't be so wary of marriage.

you gonna check out the tattoo convention this weekend http://calgarytattoo.com/start.php?

Out of either kindness, or a general feeling of pity, a gaggle -- for reference purposes, that's more than a few, smaller than a army -- of our friends ventured down from their swank downtown pads last night to sit, drink and be sub-urban.

Amanda and I sit in our own personal florescent hell-cells five days a week downtown, so neither really have an urge...

I agree you do indeed have a nice body. Can I lick? tongue

But honestly if it wasn't for you being smart you wouldn't have the kick ass job that you do which allows you for plenty of time for nonsense such as this. LOL.

I was thinkin' how there a number of LimboGirls whose sets I'd like to see go up. The mary set today so kicked ass, but I'd like to see Malloreigh get her set up -- if only 'cause she sounds like she's pretty down and I figure she'd throw a happy fit if it came out, and Kira -- since it sounds like she's been...

Most of the comics I collected when they were still twenty cents were Sgt Fury, Richie Rich, Hot Stuff, Disney, Combat (hell of a mix huh?). Though I think that I had my comic book epiphany when I was ten years old I bought a copy of Plop! The strange stories and cool Basil Wolverton covers opened my eyes to a whole world of comics I had not explored!

hope your staying warm up there brrrr!

Slow day. Work is dead. The severs are quiet. The office trolls are busily surfing for porn. Killing time. Killing brain cells.

opticnerve's helped me kill my day away talkin' about comics, so that's cool.

Other than that, I got nothin'. Which brings into question why I insist on updating this thing every day.

ooo aaa

Slow day. I like 'em like that. Sit on my ass, vaguely watch traffic on the company intranet, surf SG till my eyes bleed, stare at the pretty ladies, randomly comment in people's journals... ah... easy like Sunday morning.

Did try to change my driver's license today. Used to be that all they did was gave you a sticker to put over your old address...

Worst I ever met was MacFarlane. Jackass.

Coolest was George Perez. Favourite artist ever. Nice guy.
opticnerve:
Heh, that's awesome. I haven't met Neil, but those people I know who have met him say he's, first and foremost, a comics fan and real nice guy to have a drink with. My first-edition copies of the first 50 issues 'Sandman' are among my cherished possessions in my collection.

Yeah, I've been a fan of Perez since his Teen Titan days. I have couple of issues of 'Wonder Woman' signed by him. He's probably the only artist who could have tackled a project like Avengers/JLA. That reminds me, I have to pick up the last issue of that mini-series.

You like Warren Ellis' stuff? Still kicking my ass for missing out on 'Global Frequency'. I have to say he, Mark Millar and Grant Morrison are my fave writers working right now, though Morrison tends to get ass-lazy when towards the end of his run on whatever comic he's working on. I can't wait to see what he does with 'Superman'.

<rant>

Switched server hardware today. After a week of preparation, I transferred all the databases from one server to another, with all of 15 minutes of downtime. Estimate from Management was one full business day.

All I got from Management was a "yeah, k, so we want you to get started on that java interface now..."

Hey, where are my props? Where's the obligatory pat...

Been tryin' to think of a topic to talk about today and I've been comin' up empty.

Superbowl? Nope, can't say I give a shit.

Ms. Jackson's bewbie? I can't say much about it other than "Nice pasty".

The weather... again? Improving. Huzzah!

The job? Still hanging on by a thread.

The house? Still wonderful.

Amanda? Still perfect --insert "awwww' and theatrical retching noises from...
