Hokay, plans for the weekend are slim.
May go to the Vans demo, if they ever decide where it's going to be. It was planned for Millennium Park, but the weather, as most May long weekends in Calgary, is expected to be shit. The rumour/claim is that it'll be at the Source Park. When? Well, that's as yet to be determined.

I do want to play around with editing some footy, and s is running a contest to re-edit P.J. Ladd's part from Really Sorry for use in the next s video. The idea is you take the DVD, digitize it, re-edit it, add music -- the part originally has no music to it, and slap it back together.
The first prize is kind of weak considering the amount of work required to edit together a video part, but I'll likely never have footage that good to play with for real so I might as well.

I want to go skate sooo bad, but the weather is proving to be a deterrent. Learned frontside big spins earlier this week, and I've been dying to try them out on some stair sets. Alas, the weather gods have decided otherwise.
Yeah, I know, every little 15 year old and his dog can do frontside big spins, but I'm an old dog learning new tricks, so you'll have to excuse my excitement.
