Friday, Friday, Friday, Friday!!!!

*happy dance*

Only a few more hideous hours of alternating between mind-numbing boredom and aneurism causing aggravation until the blessed weekend. It's supposed to be a nice one at that. I'll push around on my silly wooden toy, go see Hellboy and try to push memories of this horrid week out of my mind.

----------------

After much consideration, I believe I've decided against a backyard ramp until we have a fence up. This decision was reached when all points in the negative I had avoided became profoundly clear.

I'm not particularly concerned with my neighbours considering it an "eyesore" as I consider the atrocious plastic children's playhouses and scattering of toys all over the front and visible backyards far more of an eyesore than my mini-ramp would be. I'm more concerned with the entirely too many children in the neighbourhood.

A mini-ramp would not only attract the previously mentioned skate-rats, but an invasion of smallish monsters. I'm fond of children, or moreover the idea of my own, but I am not fond of other people's children nor am I enamoured with the idea of being the neighbourhood baby sitter. Additionally, chained or not, I'm all to aware of how quickly my the ramp would become either a target of vandalism or a constant hangout for surly teens within the community.

Additionally, there is the question of liability. Although a "Use at own risk" sign maybe posted and a liability waiver may be obtained from the city, this will not prevent me from being sued frivolously should one of these smallish monsters injure themselves on the ramp.

These possibilities don't sound particularly inviting, so I have decided to build my little skate park in my basement instead of in addition to the backyard mini. Unfortunately, this means a maximum of a two foot mini and maybe a vert wall and little else. Not exactly what I had hoped but on the plus side, regardless of weather, I get to ride it.

I wonder how long it'll be before Benni goes totally nuts from trying to keep up with all her comments. biggrin

*pelvic thrust*

I wonder how long it'll be before Smuffy also spontaneously combusts from trying to do the same.

----------------

I've already yelled at two people for asking questions I had already answered in an email a week ago. Both responded to the my answer that the information they were seeking was "in the email" with "I never read the emails you send out."

*rubs temples*

Jebus, give me strength. And maybe a cleansing plague.

If I cared about those kind of threads---i.e. the HOT ones---then I would most certainly post you as one of my hottest friends. And yes I would pick people on my list not just some random bloke that looked good to me. I imagine most other people do the same. Don't you think?

Anyway, since I approach everything with a slight bit of humor I figured it was to do something anti-HOT-thread and post the names of people who I though were hot based on their personality. If you follow the link in my journal you will see what I'm talking about.

If I was to ever do a post about who I thought was hot I would include my friends only and the it would be in my journal. Hmmm new journal idea maybe? *evil grin*
