A buddy in the skate shop called to let me know they have all the new s Accel and Koston EK-01 colorways in.
The Carroll 3 Limited Editions should be in the stores within the next couple weeks, and he's gonna hold a pair of 'em for me. There's only like 10 pairs coming into each store in town, so they're super limited. I doubt I'll ever take them out of the box, let alone skate in them. That's what the brown and white pair is for.
Oh, and he showed me the Supra Distribution catalog, and there's a pair of Scott Johnston Limited Editions coming out sometime by the end of summer.
All told, even with my "discount", I'll be dishing out like $300CAN for skate kicks in the next month, and probably another $100CAN later in the summer. This doesn't bother my one iota, and, somehow, I think it really, really should.

It's supposedly going up to like 12C today. Instead of skating, I'm sitting in my office explaining, none to delicately, to the co-workers, that still don't get it, that there are no "personal files" on the server. Again.
How hard is it to grasp that the Network drive has only one set of user permissions on them?
I'm gonna start bitch slappin' people any minute now.
