I have "My Favorite Things" stuck in my head. I don't know the lyrics. I only know the Jazz arrangement for it so I have this nightmarish Herbie Hancock-ish version rolling around in my noggin.
I started humming it in the car on the way to work, Amanda turned to me and said "fuck... you are the devil..." and started humming it along with me.
Luckily, I have the OutKast version of it on iTunes here at work.
doo-dee-dee-doo-doo-doo-dee-doo-doo...
It's in your head now too, isn't it?
----
I'm part of the way through Margaret MacMillan's Paris 1919 : Six Months That Changed the World.
It's a brilliant read. She really makes the history come alive. It's vibrant, lively and has brought me to the conclusion that the major players -- the U.S., Britain and France -- have approached resolving world problems the same way for the better part of 100 years.
I find that terrifying.
----
I should be getting my TV back this afternoon. Considering I rarely watch more than two hours of TV a week, the level of importance I put into having it is really dumb.
But, dammit, watching movies on a 20 inch mono speaker TV when you're used to watching it on a 32 inch with a 6 speaker home theatre, sucks ass.
----
Managed to get the digital camera for the weekend. I really need to buy my own.
----
The TV is back home where she belongs.
*joy*

I'm in the middle of readingWhite Mughals: Love and Betrayal in Eighteenth-Century India By Willliam Dalrimple. Another part of the world shaped by the west. If your into history it to is a facinating read.
btw if your planning on taking digitals of your bum whereas smuffy may be excited to see them I on the other hand respectfully request that you do not have to do me the same favor!
