This weekend that feeling of disconnection I babbled on about a week ago grew. I was too tense to really notice at the time, but I really no longer have much in common with the friends I've had for over a decade
----
I've been wondering if that feeling is coming from finally feeling like I'm home when I'm in our house, in our community. For the first time in all the years I've lived in this city, I feel at home, and everyone I've ever know is a reminder of how not-at-home I've always felt.
----
A neighbour stopped to tell me where traffic was backed up, and which way I should go to avoid it, as I was cleaning off the car this morning. I'm still not used to people being helpful. I didn't know how to react. I think I grunted.
----
Finally ollied over 24 inches this weekend. That's not a lot, but it's higher than I've ollied in the better part of ten years. I still can't land varial flips. Not even close.

Found a kick ass store -- which I had passed hundreds of times when I lived downtown -- that carries Stacks, Quietlife, 2K and RVCA stuff, at prices that, considering the cost of ordering off the web, is reasonable. They also have a crap load of really wacked our Circa's I've never seen before.
----
Bought a Quietlife Tee and a Ed Templeton RVCA cap at above mentioned store.
----
I have a sneaker fetish. In the biggest way.
----
It's not a definition fetish, per se, I just really, really like sneakers.
----
It's snowing heavily. And cold again.
----
There was a bizarre accident on our way to work today. A car had it's rear end hung up on a fence. It's tail was sitting under the metal bar above the chain-link. There was little damage to the car, outside of being hung up on a fence. Very strange.

My web and email server are down again. Here's the explanation from my host:
Users of [our] free hosting service may have noticed unexpected outages over the last 24 hours. Due to a Denial of Service attack on the server hosting free websites, it was necessary to take that machine offline to insure the protection of the network. The matter is currently under investigation and we are aggressively working to put the server back online.
Apologies for any inconvience and thanks for your understanding.
The old adage "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

I'm kinda sleepy.
----
It's amazing how much I can write without actually saying anything.
----
How are you doin'?
