I think I can sum up my weekend with one word: vacant.

Dull, dull, dull, and more dull. We went to the pub, briefly, as going to the Cherry for the Hot Chocolate Video screening would have involved being at the Cherry and a long ass drive for the "pleasure" of being there.

I am told, however, that it was awesome and my copy will be in on Tuesday.

Spent almost all of today trying to find an entertainment unit that would fit in the corner of our living room (the room is designed a little odd), that was big enough to fit my TV, and, above all else, wasn't completely fuggin' ugly.

We failed.

We went to go look at this little Boston terrier at the pet store we're thinking of bringing home as our first born. He recently had surgery on his eye, so we couldn't play with him, and we found out that if we wished to take his cuteness home with us it would cost $1500.

That just sounds like a lot, but whenever anyone would look at him and give the "awww... he's so cute" I could barely hold in screaming "YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM... HE'S MINE!!!!"

Maybe I have to take a few days off from going to see him and it'll fade.

But he's soooooo cute.

Your weekend sounds better than mine. I just keep waiting for nicer weather. When the weather is nice there seems to be so much more to do.

Oh and my mom is from Poland. We go there every year. How did you come to know a bit of Polish?

Awesome quote about Madonna. Exactly summarizes how I feel about her and the culture which puts her on a pedestal. I look with incredulity at the people who praise her for her 'pioneering' form of feminism. When did feminism become identified with glory-hound-ism, I ask you?
