Spent that day nursing a minor hangover and cleaning the house. Very domestic. Trs chique. All the neighbours are doing it.

Is it strange that I really enjoy cleaning the house? I mean, I got up at 7:30 this morning and immediately went outside to clean off the walk. Started doing the laundry after I came in.

Made Amanda breakfast-in-bed, made some coffee, and went about our day. Yeah, sure other "stuff" took place between breakfast and coffee, but, ya know, it's a given.

Moving on, we've fallen into suburban fairly easily. Hell, I yelled at a guy for parking his truck on my lot yesterday. The lot's not even graded, and it's pretty much just dirt, but dammit, it's my dirt.

Well, whatever. Back to work tomorrow. Weekends are far too short, with far too long of weeks in between them.
