Sixth murder in the city occurred last night. Six murders in less than two weeks. In all of last year there were 10 in total. I heard it on the news this morning over my morning buzz -- that's two shots of espresso in a cup of coffee. I'll be damned if I can find word one about it on any of the "news" websites.
In other idiotic local news; The City wants to start fining panhandlers. Huzzah! At last, we will be protected from the scourge of being asked for spare change!
Maybe they can pass a bylaw preventing teenagers from "hanging out", cause ya know they're up to criminal no-goodness. While we're at it, use of a truncheon should be mandatory when ticketing skateboarders. A rectal cavity search should be implemented at traffic stops.
