Awright, I'm in Rockford now. I got there on Sunday. The trip was actually good, and this time security didn't give me shit like they did the last couple of times, and even let me keep my earrings in! Though they did have trouble with my divination cards and I had to explain what they were.
I was pretty damn tired all throughout, because I was aaaall nerves. I ended up sitting next to this gruff guy who liked raw food and The Secret and stuff. I thought that I was supposed to sit one seat away from this pretty blonde girl with glasses. Oh well lololol. D:
The weather up here is just how I remember it, though the last time I was here in the Winter it was snowing in November...at least, I think?
I went to my mother's step-mother's service today, and then to a restaurant to eat from a buffet. One of her granddaughters wasn't happy that I wouldn't eat a cake or something, but I'm not going to eat something that I don't know if it has soybean oil in it or not. Because a couple of days ago I ate cross-contaminated cheese and my stomach went numb.
Aaand afterwards, my aunt's behavior towards her father was pretty appalling. Like, she'd talk to him like he was a child and when she left his house she said that she was "tired of him". Her brother-in-law gave her some pretty shitty looks.
In any case, more listening to her bitch at the elderly tomorrow! I hope my mother can get up here for him soon, because I can tell he doesn't like my aunt.
