Goin back in 2 days. What lies ahead? 5 classes, goin for interviews, hopefully gettin drunk occasionally, homework, etc. I'm also tryin to figure out what to do for Rich for Valentine's Day. Got any ideas? Let me know.
I was also talkin w/ Rich and another friend about how when bands break up and then form other bands they usually kinda suck. I mean take Dave Navarro, not that the RHCP broke up, but he quit or whatever and then formed his own band, where he sang. they performed for free during the summer and my friends and I went to see them. I made it thru not even half of one song. Let's face it. He isn't cut out to sing. He's there to play guitar and look hot and sexy wearing thigh highs and heels. And what's the deal w/ GC. Don't get me wrong I liked their first 2 albums, but now they've completely gone pop. Then there's Avril, who claims that she never labeled herself as being punk, but was proven wrong during an interview. I mean her music isn't bad, I kinda like it, but let's call it what it is and not say it's something else. And last but not least.................what's the deal w/ Linkin Park and JayZ. It's just wrong!!!!!!!!
I hope no one is offended by my ranting. These are just my opinions and no one has to agree w/ them, but i thought I'd put them out there just to see what others thought. Feel free to let me know. Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
