This blog is for all the Braves fans out there...I had the pleasure of going to the game yesterday and being a part of the pre-game tribute to Bobby Cox. It was absolutely amazing...largest crowd in Braves history I believe they said...all showing up to pay tribute to one of the greatest managers of all time. It was such a classy and emotional affair. The Braves sent Bobby away with a brand new Lexus (which he seemed pretty stoked about), a really nice portrait, a super cool bench made out of autographed balls and bats signed by the entire team, and an 11 day Meditteranean cruise...pretty sweet I thought! And of course Bobby, being one of the most humble men in the world, just wanted to get off the stage and play ball already...typical Bobby 
I took a ton of pics, but since I was standing room only they didn't turn out that great, but still it was awesome to be a part of it. I have been a Braves fan since I could crawl and no one has ever impacted the Braves like Bobby Cox. Braves fans will never forget what he has done for this team over the years...14 straight division championships...hello!!! Bobby has earned the respect of the fans, players, coaches, owners, and everyone in the baseball world. He is truly a legend and a class act all the way! Us Braves fans appreciate everything you have done for the sport of baseball...so thank you Bobby, and good luck to you in your new role with the team. I think I can sum this up by saying...I <3 Cox!!!

Well done on the tribute Bobby Cox has always been a class act, a pure professional, and his results speak for themselves. I hope that the Braves will choose well on their successor, but they will never find a replacement. It is only fitting that the post-season, in some shape or form, will include Bobby's Braves

I really liked seeing the umpires go over to congratulate Bobby after the game today. I am pretty damn sure this the first time I have ever seen that. Let's go Braves, fly to San Fran and come home with a couple wins!!
