Lately, I have been obsessed with Frida Kahlo. I'm am absolutely fascinated by her, and hugely inspired. I painted a self portrait today. It is too large to scan, so perhaps I will take a picture in a day, or so.

I have been inspired to buy parakeets. I'm fascinated by colorful birds in cages. I have no idea why. It reeks of inspiration, captivity, and desolation. It arouses a bit of emotion in me. However, I am not one for all birds. I CANNOT stand parrots, and birds that constantly gab, and scream. My college room-mate had a zebra finch and the thing NEVER shut up. Come to figure out, Bri was gone most of the time with school and work, and it had no companion, so the thing was most likely lonely.

I guess I want to become more colorful and interesting.
