Here's the deal;

I am getting married in August 2006. I am soliciting for ideas and tips, and generosity, or simplification ideas, anyway...

In my Province, we have something called "social's" before a wedding. It's this event (a hall is rented, booze is served, there's dancing, sometimes a theme, there are prizes, silent auctions etc.) I suppose, like a fundraiser. Tickets are sold, and friends bring friends, and family brings friends, and hundreds of people show...it's a way to raise money for the bride and groom, but also, it's a way to just have a huge fucking party. (oops, I told myself I was going to try not to swear in this post...oh well I gotta be me),
ranting now...
If you have any ideas, whatsoever, I'm begging, pleading, please share. We need the money big time. We want to have a blast too...but money, is huge too. If there are Winnipeger's, please come out and show your support to a young struggling couple (we're cute, maybe I'll even flash ya' my boobs--better yet, maybe my FIANCE will flash you his boobs)...
If you can donate anything, that would be fuckin' kick ass...if you have any ideas of where we can get donations (prizes that is), that's cool...ANYTHING.
I'm begging, I have no shame.
