When I was Nine my father grounded me for watching Star Wars...

No phone, no freinds, no TV, no music, only school and my room.


For Six weeks, nothing...

I wasn't mad, and I didn't argue when he said it. You can't argue with someone who is not rational. It was utterly insane, there was nothing I could say.

My dad wasn't alarmed by the violence or the fantasy, (We where aloud to watch horror, rate R, red shoe diarys type movie. My parents didn't even flinch at that stuff.) in fact most people would think Star Wars is right up his alley. It's not.

My father is a Star Trek Man threw and threw.

I knew when I left for Kami's after school, we where going to watch Star Wars, I knew my dad would find out, I knew I'd be in trouble. I did it anyway.

I've still never seen all the movies, just Jedi (thats the little bear puppet things one right?), I've had MANY people say they would watch all the movies with me, on one ever gets around to it.

It's ok, it's only bad when someone calls someone a Wookie... I'm never really sure what that means. And the movie Spaceballs seems only sorta funny to me.

I was grounded for watching Star Wars. It's ok to laugh.
