My trip to Mexico turned out to be the most stressful vacation of my life! My mom had a sinus surgery the day after I left (which went well) and the day before I was supposed to return she had a heart attack. That was a bloody nightmare being out of the country and having a family emergency. Thankfully, I have a very sweet boyfriend that never left my side and kept me sane. My mom had to have quadruple bypass surgery and so far everything has progressed smoothly. It's been two weeks and she probably won't be herself for a good month but I'm just glad she made it through. I have to say I know some the nicest people, they are all so caring and supportive and really come through when something awful happened. Talk about an eye opening Thanksgiving! I hope everyone had an uneventful Thanksgiving and I can't wait to break out more Christmas decorations and celebrate with all of my loved ones! Hugs and kisses!

I'm sorry to hear that things came together in the unfortunate ways that they did, but it's good to know that things have settled down now. So many of our thoughts and actions center around the theme of connection and caring, if our hearts are in the right place and we keep company with the good. Hope things continue to go well with your mom : She is fortunate to have such a concerned daughter. <3
