I am so sick about hearing about the fucking TSA body scanners! I don't give a shit who sees me naked; I'd rather strip down in public than be felt up by a stranger any day. I always get selected for the random check anyway so maybe now I can avoid it. (I believe it's because I'm white and look like I won't pitch a fit and the TSA needs to meet a certain quota of white people checked. And they always think I have drugs.) A way to stop the silly terrorists from coming on the plane with a bomb in their pants is to allow other passengers to be armed. If three or more people have guns on a plane who's going to want to fuck with the people on board? Stupid TSA making travel a nightmare!

i think the issue is that they SAY the pictures are never saved, but then news came out that a picture was saved and spread around the workplace. and most people arent ok with their naked bodies being seen like some are. im ok with being on SG, but i dont need coworkers to know. i wouldnt have known about the new scanners if it wasnt for two things 1) photos of you naked COULD be saved and spread around, and its happened, even though they promised it wouldnt/couldnt and 2) the asshole that thought boycotting it the day before thanksgiving would be a great idea. a week after would have been perfect. people would be worried that theyd gone through the scanners already, and would have time to change their xmas plans.

but i mostly agree with what you're saying. scanner > body search. the scanners are bad enough, but they're legally allowing the TSA to search you in a more private and 'detailed' way. if that makes sense. open palmed and everything. i will SCREAM if someone touches me like that at all. look at me naked, fine, but dont fucking grab my tit because you think my pushup bra is hiding pills. they can detain me and make me miss my flight, but dont touch me. lol.
