It's so funny how little kids can be so bloody insulting sometimes. Today, I overheard a little girl talking about how she thought redheads are scary. That remark brought out my inner eight year old. I wanted to say "well at least I'm not an ugly snot nosed brat like you!" but adults aren't allowed to say that kind of thing to kids. Underneath my...

Red hair is a beautiful thing.

agreed - it's very difficult sometimes, i was always the butt of ginger jokes as well - but srsly, the amount of people telling me they wished they had this colour and how hard they had to work from a bottle to get theirs to look like mine - makes up for every bad joke <3
I am so obsessed with this song right now! <3

A byproduct of being more open is I look more approachable and don't walk around with a perpetual scowl on my face. I suppose having Lilith Crane and Wednesday Addams as role models when I was a child was a bad idea since I abolished smiling from my list of facial expressions. I don't think I will ever be able to rid myself of the...

it's good to be open. . .and its good to be sarcastic. . .tough as it is sometimes with ppl thinking you're an asshole and what not all the time. That tends to be my issue, or i try to peal back the sarcasm and either come across a a fuckin weirdo or i just laugh at everything, which also kinda makes me a weirdo. Seems to be working out for u though. . .congrats.
iamthelaw:
There is nothing pesky about sarcasm, my lovely and brooding Mariettan. With the exception, of course, of when there is a giant gulf between the person who utters a sarcastic phrase, and the person who doesn't get it. That gulf is frequently referred to as a "sarchasm"
A follow up to yesterday's blog... I didn't exactly sniff other people but I did engage in embracing total strangers at a club. It seems like people are alright with it as long as you approach them properly (and I think they might think they have met me before and just don't remember). What's really funny is I was covered in cum... not my own.

Whaaaaaaaaa???
jaybugg:
lol dare i ask why you had cum on you and you were nonchalant about it
People are so interesting! I seriously want to know everyone! Wouldn't it be interesting if people embraced their animalistic roots more and strangers greeted each other more physically? Maybe a good long sniff of each other?

I'm the biggest dork ever! Tomorrow, I'm going to an amazing antique book auction and I'm so excited! They have rare first editions and original prints. I just hope the items don't go for too much. I have my eye on a book from 1834 entitled "The First History Book for Children and Youth". It has these beautiful wood cuts and maps. I have to...

Woah hey, I like you!
I decided to conduct a little experiment with my new found openness and went out and about to see if I felt as closed off as I used to be. I SO don't! It's amazing! I notice I hug my friends closer and empathize with them more and am able to communicate with strangers better. My energy has shifted so much it has had an...

I had a seriously amazing, life-changing experience. The world and everything around me feels new and fresh. I feel like I'm being reborn and tearing down walls that I spent 20 years building and fortifying. It's rather scary, but it's got to be healthier than ignoring, repressing, suppressing, and being generally emotionally dead. I still have a long way to go but at least it's...

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pandora... except when it decides to play the same bands to which I consistently give a "thumbs down" on their songs. A good part of the time Pandora will inexplicitly play something I haven't heard in ages and forgot I completely adore. Like this song! <3

I've noticed the same. When Pandora's love affair with Coldplay gets to be a little much then I switch over to ACCURADIO which as a bonus has unlimited fast forward plus they are adding new stations pretty frequently.

haha very classic song.
I love you all so much on SG! Everyone on here has been super nice and supportive and I really appreciate it! <3
