Waking up at 3:30pm makes for some very awake nights... even though it feels like a Sunday.
I attended the Dresden Dolls show on Friday evening, and I must say that I was absolutely entertained. I was a fan of them to begin with, but seeing them play live made me even more of a fan. The energy that those two put into the music is somethin' beautiful. (Not to mention that Amanda Palmer is quite the attractive individual).
But I must introduce and hope that somebody happens to read this and visit The Red Paintings
They opened the show for the Dresden Dolls, and despite stolen equipment, and the singer being visibly ill, they were amazing. You can also visit their actual website to download their music: The Red Paintings.
My rats have found the hammock in their cage and I came home to a scene of utter ratty cuteness to find them both passed out in it. That was quite the sight.
Flogging Molly is this Friday... anybody on here interested in seeing it?
It has come to my attention that my friends are severly lacking in the musical tastes category of life, leaving me to attend many of the best concerts by myself.
I don't so much mind it... but hey, company is nice.
P.S. Amanda Palmer is one sexy, sexy woman.
