that's really rad. i worked for my college radio station and loved it, but it was always the station director who did the interviews when people came to campus. probably because there were all of 1,000 students there. i loved i tho - will columbia send any of y'all to CMJ this year?

if you wanna come out to the show and try and get an interview with them before or after, i might have an extra ticket. i'm reviewing the show for venus zine, and they never tell me if i get a plus one or not. usually the photographer is the 'plus one'. were you trying to get them to come to the station?

the show's next saturday at the bottom lounge. venus already has a photog booked for the show, but if yer interested in shooting shows for them you can send them your website or flickr page. don't get too excited tho, 'cause they don't pay, but i'm happy just to go to shows for free. and i'm trying to build up my writing portfolio a bit.

1. Girls, unless you're hardcore and can take it - get out of the pit at a concert. Stand off to the back or side.
1b. Guys, unless your girlfriend is hardcore and can take it, do NOT bring her into the pit... then spend the entire concert 'protecting' her and scowling/toss elbow at anybody...

only three classes must be nice. if you ever have time, we should meet up and hang out when i'm down there for school.

i think the working out will be harder for me. i get motivated, work out once, and then stop. so this time i'm getting myself added motivation to keep me working out.

i suppose that is true though, skinny doesn't mean fit. i think once i get a routine down about working out, i'll be good. cause after the initial feeling like shit after you work out, you feel good and feel like shit when you miss a work out, right? at least this is what i'm told.

i'm in chicago all day on monday. but wednesday i get out of classes around 5. so i'm good then.
