Had a ball last night. I went to the 2006 FilmInk Awards. This is a little known Australian Awards show presented by the same named FilmInk magazine. The highlights of the evening were watching Russell Crow win the Award "Best Aussie in the Foreign Film" for Cinderella Man, Steve Bisley presented the lifetime achievement award to John Jarrett, recently of Wolf Creek Fame, and Russell Crow singing a tribute to Richard Harris with his band "Ordinary Fear of God".
Overall, a fun, silly, off the cuff thrill ride of an event.
