Nothing new going on here, I seen Wolfman last night I thought it was awesome. I have only seen parts of the original but it was amazing to see that kind of werewolf again. we have Dire wolves and mutated naked mole rats passing for werewolves and I think its nonsense I personally like this kind of werewolf and the last passable version in my opinion is from Monster squad circa 1987
