I've decided I am going to start making music. smile I have been a fan of music pretty much anything from classical to metal forever and I am inspired to try my hand at dj work, I don't want to be the dj at clubs till 4 in the morning at least not anytime soon but I want to create and give away music, I have screwed around with mixers before but I never owned equipment so this is new to me I found this Site which offers a product called Maschine , its a combination of hardware and software so I will be able to sample in and mix music on my computer genius right. I know plenty of people that can play instruments and I myself have a decent voice so maybe I'll do some vocal work I got to see the Maschine in motion in a video from attack of the show , where The Crystal Method ran it through some motions for people, its amazing

Rock on! It never hurts to try it out. At the very worst you'd find out it's not for you and at the best you'd be making the music you dream of making. I forget my friend's weird little band... damn... they made some random music and recorded some vocals in his car on a cheap mic and it's hilarious metal. They all dressed up as girls and have girly names... and apparently people thought they were real women and were signed to a record label. Sure, it may be better than a lot of garbage metal that gets slammed out on a daily basis, but at the same time it wasn't that grandiose. Original, yes, funny, indeed... damn. Now I gotta find that. They did like 5 songs and I have a copy on CD somewhere... gotta find it. They're on myspace somewhere too.
