Whats up everybody
Its Friday and since my work is still trying to get business going again, I still have fridays off
and I don't mind. I am alone today though, My mom and Dad are up at Rush in Chicago, my pops had to have a Surgery for his knee and things went well, so he should be home today or maybe tomorrow depending on what they say. So I spent last night cleaning the inside of my car and it looks really good. I did come across what I can only speculate was part of the peanut butter cup milk shake my ex spilled on the passenger side floor mat but 45 minutes of scrubbing with 409 did wonders and now my car looks pretty sweet. Smells good to so I'm happy.
I did get caught off guard though I went to see my brother last night and he told his son if he asked nicely I would tell him a bed time story..........yyyeeaaaaa , unfortunately i froze like a deer in headlights and could only talk about the volcano book I brought him at which point my brother swooped in and saved the day dad style with a harrowing story about the Chicago bears and jay cutler being the new quarterback. lol, I thought I was good with kids, turns out I need some refresher courses man. After that me and my Brother played guitar hero world tour on his 60" tv totally bad ass. other than that, its 2 days till the kick off of the home opener at Toyota park in Bridge view and I'll be chanting and Dancing and drinking and rooting for the FIRE... I love this time of year.
In entertainment news, I know a lot of people love zombies, I do and I think I know why. its not so much the dead rising up and eating people or the gore or the 90% chance you'll end up seeing boobs, its the fact that in those movies its down to the character, the person, yourself. Those people either live or die. its about survival. can you figure out how to keep yourself alive and save others. I know I could and yes I have thought about it I am a dork like that, so the reason for this is I was recently turned on to a comic series called " The Walking Dead " written by Robert Kirkman The Walking dead wiki page . The Story is pretty awesome, here's the skinny ( I've always wanted to say that) Rick was shot in the line of duty, Rick wakes up to an empty Hospital room from a coma he was in. He walks around a bit and finds no one in the hospital till he hits the cafe and finds himself in a bit of situation. Needless to say I am on trade 2 and I find it pretty gripping so I recommend it.
