I had a friend whose doctor told him that because he was happy on his meds, he was taking him off of them. WTF kind of sense does that make?? My friend finally found something that stablized him emotionally and because it works, you're going to take it away. The doctor's excuse was that he didn't want my friend to "abuse" the drug.
My friend went in to the doctor the next month. Even though he hadn't been on his meds and was way depressed, he told the doctor how great everything was and how happy. He acted scary happy and the doctor decided to give him back the meds that should have never been taken away.
