My peacock costume was ruined. 'Cause it literally rained on my parade. Well, the NYC Halloween parade, but whatever. Soaking wet, we found a hookah bar, and chilled there for a bit. Then the next day I had to venture back into the city for an epic Redken cutting class. That was seriously awesome, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to go. My boss and I spent a lot of time discussing my future, and the salon's future, and things like that. I'm so pumped I have a job in the salon I've been looking for, that's training the shit out of me and following through with their promises.

My boy is giving me a guitar!! Ahhhh!!! It's one of his old ones, and he's going to re-string it for me, and he's going to teach me how to play. Fucking amazing. We get to see Flyleaf next week, then Brand New a week after that, and then GWAR two weeks after that. He's quite possibly the best thing that's ever happened to me. I have to make him a steak or something (if I can figure out how the fuck to cook meat haha). He just does so much for me, and it's amazing to feel so appreciated and special for once. Plus, hours of Guitar Hero and watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force make for an amazing relationship as well haha.

Kinda stressed about lack of money. Stupid Christmas. And bills. And needing new scissors. And attempting to fly to Tampa to visit my sister. Ohhh well, it'll sort itself out at some point.
