Haven't updated in a while. Stupid life, interfering with my blogging!
I went on a toooooon of interviews in the city, and had a few job offers. I just haven't liked anywhere I went. Besides, with the costs of MTA fares rising, peak trains and metrocards are not my favorite thing at the moment. We have new owners at my job, and new girls that are really fun, and things are changing for the positive there. More classes and more opportunities. Learning the new color line is kind of crazy, not gonna lie. It confused the shit out of me. The only thing that sucks is the same assistant (who's 38 and DOESNT HAVE A LICENSE!!!) is trying to so hard to bring me down and knock out all my success. I'll show that bitch, dammit!
My sister, who's the polar opposite of me, and I got matching tattoos the other weekend when she was home for a friend's wedding. We got matching hibiscus flowers on our feet. I still can't believe she did it. It was her first tattoo and she didn't even flinch! Freak of nature! Haha. I made her really blonde and cut her hair, and all was fun. I did the hair for the wedding too. I've been working with a lot of brides lately. Prom season is kinda making me pumped too. Updos= <3.
My dad and I went to the opening game at Yankee Stadium. It was pretty sweet, but would have been better if they won! WTF ARE YOU DOING TO ME, YANKEES! Step it up! I'll be at the game next week, the day before my birthday. 22, when the hell did that happen?
I'm not really pumped for my birthday this year, I'm just really stressed about stuff. I've been in a good place with myself, and I just keep sabotaging everything, and I don't know why. Stupid subconscious! I'm trying to weed out all the drama in my life. I try so hard to be low key, and my general group of friends is just so fun and accepting of everything, but it sucks to have to cut someone out for being a total drama queen and fucking up stuff. What are ya gonna do though? I need to stop doubting everything and everyone, I have to get over thinking everyone is going to fuck me over.
I keep having people in my past randomly popping up and wanting to hang out. It's weird, especially when it someone who was so close to me and just dropped off the face of the earth for no reason. We'll see how that goes.
