So I have my written exam in 2 weeks. Holy shit. Now I've gotta study, and when I'm done with that, obsessively practice fingerwaves and remember how to do the chemical straightening. Gah!!
I spent all Saturday running around NYC handing my resume to different salons. I'll probably go back this Saturday, as I keep finding new listings on Craigslist. I'm aiming for all the ones that offer a lot of education, and that don't seem like they hate the pink-haired tattooed chicks. I applied at Nick Arrojo studio, and I actually got to meet him, and handed him my resume. He asked me if I was good, and me being an ass and retarded after a long day was like "I'm the best, but I'd be even better if I worked for you!" *Smacks head* Idiiiiiioooooooot! Whatevs, I'll call back in a few days and hope they want to hire me.
Went to a sweet cafe with one of my friends while I was there. We got chai lattes and played Chutes and Ladders, and later on played Star Wars Monopoly and watched Run Lola Run. Then the night started getting....weird, so I headed back to LI. I'm always much happier when I'm in the city though. I went back home and I was just so blahhh. Glad I'll be going back this weekend though. And also glad I'm going to Boston to see MSI in March. That's going to be yet another awesome adventure. Wooo!
