I just saw a movie that made me pissed enough to move to cuba. yea; CUBA.
have you ever needed some kinda medical care that your insurance plan DENIED to you ? have you ever had to pay out the ass for a doctors visit, or some medical processure? yea, im talking about america; not the french on here, not the canadians, not the english, not even the cubans....they ALL have FREE HEALTH CARE...not like america. we pay out the ass for our health care, yet, even in cuba, you can walk right into a hospital, and get immediate care....for free. it's all paid for by the government.
you know how america set the country up to hate france after 9/11? france wasn't the only country that refused to take any part in "operation freedom"....so why single them out?
did you know in france, health care is FREE, you get 5 weeks paid vaction (MINIMUM!) even if you're PART TIME? the working week is only 35 hours, and if you work more than that, you get more days off. when you get married, you get an EXTRA week of paid vacation. any amount of time spent at the hospital, is FREE....you walk in, stay as long as you need to...and leave. simple as that. chopped off your fingers? they'll PROFESSIONALLY reattach them for free....a man chopped off the tip of his middle finger and ring finger in america; to have his middle finger reattached woul d have been 60,000$, and his ring finger 12,000$...he could only afford the ring finger. oh, and get this; when you give birth in france, the GOVERNMENT pays a nanny to come to your house and help you with every day tasks for four hours a day. yes, they pay for it....and day cares? (certified, government approved daycares, i might add)....one dollar an hour. that's it.
and my absolute favorite....College. is. Free.
So yes, they pay for all of this in taxs....which isn't that bad, mind you. but guess what. they have no medical bills, no student loans, no unresolved health problems...they are virtually debt free, with a college education, and better health than even the wealthiest americans.
Watch the movie Sicko. You'll see. It makes me sick to find out all of this about america. I never hated france. never. and now, more than ever, i want to move there.
