It's been sometime since I've really written anything on here worth taking a glance at, so I'll continue with the trend and update you all on my life the past week or so. One of the more interesting weeks I can remember. . .
Sadly, it starts with a darker side. The missing UVM student, Michelle Gardner Quinn's body was found at a gorge a couple towns outside of Burlington. My deepest sympathies go out to her family and friends. This is something that I had some difficulty dealing with. To be in the same town, the same age, with good friends that go to UVM, I couldn't put this in the back of my mind. I even called my mom, I mean it was distressing, especially when she was still missing. We had a missings person's poster in the store I work at. I just looked at it over and over, starring at her picture. She looked like anyone else, easily replaced with a friend's face. I couldn't help but ask myself, what it must have been like to die that way. What went through her mind at that moment? It was a tragedy. And I don't know if it's anger or this helpless feeling but other thoughts start to come through, like, what kind of people are capable of such acts? Why to we let them into our lives, and why do we continue to let them carry on? It's a sick world we live in, but it's far darker then I could have ever imagined. RIP MGQ
. . . I'm not gunna write anymore tonight, we can continue some other time
