Time for a real blog again (kinda)
The last 2 months have been pretty eventful I suppose,I guess that's why I haven't had time to post anything besides a Beastie Boys tribute blog.
I began April with watching Kansas lose the National Championship game to Kentucky (which made me EXTREMELY Happy)
Went and saw DJ Starscream (Sid Wilson from Slipknot) play a dubstep/hip-hop show at my friend's club in KC.
Smaller crowd so it was pretty cool and we all hung out and had drinks afterwards
Fellinibird came into town in mid-April to go see Slaughterhouse with me out in Kansas.
I was stoked as hell because I had been wanting to see Joe Budden's live for a long time and the show was pretty bad ass.
Then 4/20 came and went. I celebrated properly. Fat ass BBQ sandwich from Oklahoma Joe's (If you don't know..sorry for ya) went and stopped by my friend Scott's and smoked the most beautiful blunt ever at 4:20.
Had a scenic view of downtown on the deck,multiple other people outside on their decks smoking as well with us. Blunt was 4 grams of Ice Queen wrapped in pure marijuana leaves..so 100% pot.
NBA Playoffs started and my inital pick of a Miami vs San Antonio finals is still in tact.
I'm trying to go see a Spurs game in either San Antonio or Oklahoma City (if they win) in the next 2 weeks or so. Excited to see if this can play out, I've be dying to see a Spurs playoff since I was a kid.
This last weekend I went to Kansas City's 'Rockfest'. It's the biggest single one day festival show in America. This year they said there was over 56,000 people there.
The festival was pretty fun and wild as fuck..the show was alright I guess.
The line-up was like Shinedown,Five Finger Death Punch,Slash,Chevelle,HellYeah,Trivium,Volbeat,etc.
I didn't care for most of the music but I got nice and boozy and made friends, it ended up being a pretty good time. Here's a video of Trivium I filmed from inside a mosh pit..pretty cool POV video.
Tomorrow night...Mafuccin Marilyn Manson show!
First time seeing him inside somewhere since 1998...hoping he brings his A game this time around.
Summer is almost here and I plan on doing a lot of shit, I hate being here in the Summer.
Got tickets to Deftones and System Of A Down in Chicago for August.
Rock The Bells line up announced later tonight (here's to hoping it is awesome)
Anyone have any fun activities lined up, I got dates to fill!
