Just got back from NY and it was a blast! Got to spend some time with the lovely Amina, ymonster, and some of the SGNYers, and Aspen. Totally missed fdnymedic! Fucking rats!
The highlight of the trip was definately the show on Saturday. Got there in time to catch the end of the Dictators, Bo Diddley, and holy shit the New York Dolls, and then one of my lifelong fantasies came true when I saw Iggy Pop and the Stooges play. I just about shit my pants.
Skatepunk, Mase, Ginger, and I all got matching tattoos on the last day for a souvenier of our little Rock and Roll weekend in NY. A little tribute to Johnny Thunders on our wrist, a lightning bolt and LAMF. I love it. I only wish Tim Kern could have done it... but there was not time for that. But let me tell you this... the chestpiece that he is doing on Amina is so fucking bad ass! I can't wait for him to do my neck in November.
