Rats!!! I keep missing sooo many great shows because of one reason or another. I missed the Melvins show and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs when I was in Reno. Other shows I miss because I am broke. Yesterday the Fantomas did a free show at Amoeba but first of all I was a wreck from the night before, and 2nd I would have missed it anyway because it is more important for me to have celebrate the birthday of Skatepunk's mum with them and their family. Skatepunk is like a brother to me, so his mum is family to me.
And now... tonight.... High on Fire is playing at the Troubadour, and the Fantomas are playing with Melt Banana (all the way here from Japan and I haven't seen them in over year) and the Locust in Ventura. But I am flat broke. But tonight I am sure I will have a BLAST anyway because I get to hang out with some fine SG's at some event we are going to.

Can you please start letting me go to shows again? I used to go to any show for free- but I never want to work in the music business again. So when I wake up in the morning can I please have some tickets under my pillow? The Liars are coming up. And Peaches is playing in April. Thank you!

that sucks that you missed the melvins show - the melvins f-in rock. i interviewed king buzzo a couple years ago at a show in new york and him and i pelted people on the street with grapes from a second story window at the club. those guys rock.
hah, i'm not sure that i've comment in your journal before... though i'm looking at your bands list and i'm thinking maybe i have. that's some fine fine taste in music you've got there, ma'am.
