I went to the Suicide Girls/ Guns N Roses show Sunday night and the ladies were awesome! And Guns N Roses rocked my ass off. I was hoping for Axl to be his old self, with the skin tight white biker shorts and a flannel tied around his waist. But these days he's a bit buff and wears shiny collared shirts. But that's OK because when they played Sweet Child of Mine it took me back. It took me back to being a little girl, listening to Pirate Radio 100.3 in my Dad's little blue Mazda Rx-7 on the way to school. Anyone in LA remember Pirate Radio? Those were the days.... I remember Pirate Radio had a thing where you could send in a T-shirt from another radio station, and they would send you back a Pirate Radio shirt. Well, me and my pops really wanted a Pirate Radio shirt but didn't have any other radio t-shirts. So I made a homemade Power 106 T-shirt with puffy paint, and we got our Pirate Radio shirts. Fuck yeah! And I wore mine with spandex pink zebra biker shorts. That's right.

Yesterday I worked on a golf course in the Pacific Palisades, and a little something boggled my mind! Did you know that people pay $350,000 dollars to join this golf club, and another $50,000 per year just to keep their membership!? That just blows me away. If you played one game of golf per week, that's roughly $1,000 per game. But you're not paying for the golf as much as you are paying for the status. I guess you have to throw your money away somewhere. Sheesh!

Christmas is less than a week away and I still haven't done ANY shopping. At all. I guess I better get started.
