4 reasons why today was a good day:

1. I got off early (only worked 10 hours) and I have the next 11 days off.

2. I gave one of the best, most highly acclaimed cinematographers in the world one of my photos in the form of a lightbox and he loved it. I think homemade Christmas gifts are the best.

3. They brought in king crab legs, caviar, and Christmas Caroler's for lunch.

4. I got my Zak Smith (Splixx) book in the mail "Pictures of Girls." And there she is... Sawa Suicide. Zak: You rule! Seriously. I can't wait to see this painting in person, and holy shit it sold to the Whitney Museum in NY. Zak had a sold out exhibit. He is the shit.


Los Angeles has had some amazing skies lately. Unfortunately when I see them, I'm in my car- so I've only been able to take camera phone pictures of them. Camera phones just don't do it justice. But I would like to share the sunrise with you if I may... and the sunset.

This one was taken on my street on the way to work. The sky looked like it was on fire. That's a little school right there that has become quite the hot spot for skateboarders. Lots of neat spots for tricks.:

So, have a happy holiday everyone! My vacation starts right NOW- so I need to activate my holiday spirit. I am in a great mood. Things have been a bit up and down lately- but it's alll good.....
