random pieces of information about my "fuck valentine's" valentine.
nineteen. half-white, half-palauan. son of two teachers. lost his best friend senior year when his friend took his car, crashed and died. plays for palau's and guam's national basketball team. a multitasker: can drive, smoke a good one and look for a cd in his case. the best tutor: from pool to teaching me curse words in palauan.
yesterday was so fuckin' weird. i had lunch with a guy i have a class with (last semester i had two with him but never really talked to him). we had lunch and somehow ended up hanging out with him for more than half the day.
we grabbed lunch, went to his house and killed two hours. left to pick up his friend. then we all hung out some more at his place. *i politely sat out on a valentine's steak dinner provided by valentine's dad. shot some pool, scored, and ended early because i have work...
i never met a palauan considering they live like so close. but yesterday, more than half the dialogue i was listening to was in palauan. it's my new mission to learn some palauan.
