south by southwest is there.. that's a hella fun music festival for unsigned bands.. I hear the party scene is great.. not too sure about the weather.. sometimes a change of scenery is needed to clear the brain

have you relocated to Austin yet? It's a great town with loads of stuff to do... just don't do it all in one night then you won't have anything to do the next night
