Lost all of my keys tonight. went to a show at the city museum. after party. walked to my car. no keys. shit. ran back to my friends... gone. walked over to the apartment from whence we came, and thank "god" someone opened the security door for me. apologized to the sleepy (5am) residents, and called my room mate.

still... my keys were the only posession i have that dates back to my childhood. i bought the swarski crystal keychain in 1979, as a kid for 50pfenig in baden-baden Deutschland. lost it when i went to my grandmothers house, christmas of the next year. 20 years later, she found it. didn't know what it was, and gave it to my uncle. my mother finally saw it, and knew exactly what it was. several months ago, for my thirtieth birthday, she gave it to me as a present. it is precious to me.

and gone.

i met some fun people tonight... but, they were not so fun. and then, i had to ask for desperate help. desperate. i was in the deeps of the city, highest crime rate per capita, and needed some help.

i curse this night. in all the human tongues, as well as the elvish and entish. curses to it. we hates it.
