i don't think my client this morning realized i was hung over. not sure, though.
it was a keyboard repair house call. the only problem, other than my state of being, was that it was a Roland RD-1000. 70 lbs, at least. moving that thing around while hung over... i had to overcharge for that shit.
came back home... and the events of the prior...

Know any tech industry people who need a programmer/database/uber-tech-support guy? Anger's been out of work since February and it's really starting to wear on him -- and our savings...

"Grease is the word is the feeling..." playing on the radio. odd, for several reasons. first, it is a talk radio station. second, it is anachronistic to hear that on any radio station in contemporary america; including oldies stations. there is simply no demographic appropriate for that song. none. methinks.
someone drank my scotch.
i bought it last night after work......

oh, Shalome! i forgot to mention my funny story of four-year-old-honesty... in responce to your own very cute one...
Gave a Darth Maul figure to my nephew. i actually used it as an ornament (how frilly!) on a real birthday present. you know... Darth Maul was holding onto the bow-like-thing that i made with copper wire.
he liked the present, i guess (even i forget what it was), but turned to me and said "uncle paul... Darf Maul (s)mells like you!"
of course, the Darth Maul figure had hung beneath my car mirror for several months. and absorbed lots of clove cigarrette smoke.
ouch.

Letter of Regret to Darksky... and all attendees of STLSG's KiitF tonight:
wouldn't you know... i came home for a second from hanging out with the family, and was about to set out and attend "Keep It in the Family"...
but my rommate was showing off my modular analog synth. considerring that i have a couple of semi-finished cuircit boards hanging by bare wires, this...

first entry.
and you are here to witness it.
so it begins... absent anything profound and timeless to utter, i offer a story that is sadly often repeated in my dealings with the world; a tale of great intent, dire mourning, and woefull regret... and stuff...
i figured i would renew membership here, by the proddings of the kind and gregarious Shalome ( http://suicidegirls.com/members/Shalome )....

"Keep It In The Family" is tonight!!!!
shal:
Glad to see you.
Hopefully, we'll see you at an event somtime...
thanks for the "cute" analysis, makes sense really, if people told me i was the hottest thing on the planet and they wanted to rip my clothes off i would be much more bothered...
i just get random emails everyday from silly boys telling me how cute i am, it just seems obvious now i guess.
anywho, darkskyy and i went to the creepy crawl once the show was cancelled...
Tell me about it. i have been doing that for a year and a half now. then, like an idiot, i invited my "best friend" to move in with her. hey, they both needed room mates.
major mistake. don't try that one at home. in fact, don't be friends with him at all. perhaps some day, but not when you are prone.
when i have been happiest, i have been away from home, away from thinking, ruminating and reflecting.
but sadly, those were always the things i liked most about being me. perhaps getting away from those things naturally helps one evolve into someone slightly different; at least different in the respect of not being preoccupied.
and that's good enough for now.
