...yeah, the thing is that there IS a decent UK punk scene but it just gets no coverage and, like I say, also has a tendency to attract the wrong sort of people every now and again. As I said on me journal it really pisses me off that there's some great UK punk bands out there like Gold Blade and the Dead Pets who get absolutely no coverage while the crap that passes for the metal press over here are happy to salivate over anything from California singing songs about how they hate their parents making them tidy up their room.
Also, I have to say I'm enjoying doing something that's a bit more free of the old "three chords good four chords bad" mentality.
Hehe, trust me I'd have happily offed the emo kids and grungers if I thought I could've got away with it dude...
